Braceby is a very small rural village in Lincolnshire.

Which can be found approximately seven miles to the east of Grantham and four miles to the west of Folkingham.

To visit by road take the A52 east from Grantham, or from nearby
Sleaford take the A15 south, turn west on to the the A52
then follow the sign for Braceby, which will be on your left.

The local church is Saint Margaret's,
which dates back to the thirteenth century.

On visiting the village the first thing that stands out is the buildings of sixteenth and seventeenth-century origin, which look as though limestone was used in their construction. Which points to the fact, that at some point in the history of this village, it may have been a centre of quarrying and stone masonry, possibly supplying stone and skilled stonemasons to its neighbouring towns and villages.
