Aswarby is a small village in Lincolnshire.
Which can be found just off the A15 between Bourne and
Sleaford.
The local church is St.Denis.
Aswarby Hall
Which proudly stands in extensive and well wooded parkland
is thought by many not to exist, due to the work of
the English author M.R.James (1862–1936)
who specialised in supernatural fiction and ghost stories.
One such story was set in Aswarby Hall (titled - Lost Hearts)
As such most people who have read this classic work of fiction
do not realise that the hall actually does exist.
